Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)
…is a team of professionals and paraprofessionals who specialize and intensive care available 7 days a week for adults with complex needs.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
…is widely accepted as an effective approach to help people who have been affected by traumatic experiences. DBT helps individuals cope successfully with intense emotions and begin to confront specific challenges in their lives that they have not been able to cope with successfully in the past.
Emerald House
…is a transitional residence and treatment center for persons recovering from mental illness, specializing in teaching independent living skills, including vocational skills, nutrition, budgeting, and social interaction. Staff are on site 24/7 and make the residence a home for 10 individuals.
Help Overcoming Psychosis Early (HOPE)
…aids individuals and their family members in navigating through a first episode of psychosis by assisting with stabilizing their psychotic symptoms. HOPE focuses on supporting individuals with maintaining interpersonal relationships, achieving their educational and employment aspirations, and improving their quality of life. To improve physical health, InSHAPE is a program that pairs a client with a personal health mentor who is also a certified personal fitness trainer to tailor a unique personal health plan that meets the client’s needs.
